About Us

The staff of McGorman MacLean currently consists of four partners, two managers, five staff CPA’s, three articling students, five accounting technicians and three support staff. Working as a team, the firm’s staff provides audit, review and compilation engagements, personal, corporate and specialized tax services as well as other services including business planning and succession planning.

McGorman MacLean was established in 1982 in Parksville, BC.  The practice provides accounting, management, business succession planning and tax services to a wide variety of clients.  The partners and staff of McGorman MacLean have extensive knowledge, experience and resources and strive to provide all clients with prompt, personalized service.


Mark McGorman, B. Comm., CPA, CA

Mark has over 30 years of experience in public practice with strong emphasis on corporate taxation, personal tax planning and audit of municipalities.  Mark articled with Thorne Riddell, Chartered Accountants (now KPMG) in Victoria.   Mark received extensive experience in public sector and not-for-profit auditing when employed at Thorne Riddell.   Mark has been a member of the practice review and licensing committee and a member of the professional conduct enquiry committee for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

Mark is an active member of the community and enthusiastically supports community events.  In his thirty years in Parksville, Mark has sat on various boards and committees, including the Parksville Rotary Club.

Mark and his wife have two children and two grandchildren.  He enjoys fly fishing, golfing and traveling.


Cam MacLean, B. Comm., CPA, CA

Cam is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (1983) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting.  He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1986 after articling with Thorne Riddell, Chartered Accountants (now KPMG) in Victoria.   Cam focuses on accounting and tax advice for privately held companies.   In addition, Cam has extensive public sector audit experience.

When Cam has down time he enjoys golfing, playing guitar and traveling.


Stana Pazicka, CPA, CA

Stana joined McGorman MacLean in 2005 after obtaining her professional designation in 2004 while articling with an accounting firm in Courtenay.  Stana’s primary focus is accounting and tax services for owner-managed companies and providing audit services for First Nations and not-for-profit organizations.

Stana was born in Slovakia where she obtained her Civil Engineering degree.  After moving to Canada in 1995, she obtained her degree in Business Administration from North Island College.

Outside of the office, Stana enjoys walks with her husband and four dogs, running and gardening.


Leanne Souchuck, BBA, CPA, CA

Leanne joined McGorman MacLean in 2006 after graduating from Malaspina University-College (now Vancouver Island University) with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting. She obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2009. Leanne focuses on accounting, tax and audit services for privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations.

In her spare time, Leanne enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and two children.
